Cal AI says it is "about 80%" accurate. In a test by US government scientists (NIH), it missed 345 kcal per meal on average. MyFitnessPal and Lose It! were close to that. Most of the missing calories were fat. Other scientists have not checked that test yet. Snapkin was not in it. We tested Snapkin ourselves, on 500 meals weighed on a scale. On phone photos, a typical meal was within 17% of the scale.
